2011........5 books only, back to work, back down to earth!
Lars Kepler
– The Hypnotist
Anthony
Burgess – A Clockwork Orange
Daniel Silva
– The Mark Of The Assassin
Jimmy
Docherty – The Ice-Cream Con
David
Nicholls – One Day
Burgess’s
Clockwork Orange was a slow read for a short book. Wouldn’t want to read him
again if I’m honest, not as enjoyable as I’d hoped.
Kepler’s
Hypnotist was pretty good from memory, if a bit over-long.
Silva......ok.
Book of the
month – One Day....managed to read it before seeing the film with my wife. Any book that makes you cry, must be well
written in my opinion. Well done Mr Nicholls.
