  1. Ah, you have some good stuff there, Col! Deighton, Disher, Hillerman, and Vargas! And McGilloway, too. In my opinion, anyway, good reading awaits you!

    1. Margot thanks. I think it's safely established I have plenty of good reading ahead of me and no real need for any more books!

  2. Shane Maloney – Yes – Enjoyed his work, but have not read him in a while. Need to catch up.

    1. I read him maybe 10 years ago, but haven't kept pace with him.

  3. Maclean, Macinnes, Vargas, Deighton - plenty there to keep me happy. Where Eagles Dare is such a classic Maclean - strong men, buxom women, over-the-top Nazis. I want to re-read it now.

    1. I've not yet tried MacLean - buxom women, hmm.......what's not to like!

I will let you know how that works out for me...

  5. I have not read Where Eagles Dare and I want to. I have read The Dragon Man by Garry Disher and I liked it and I need to get to the second book someday. Lots of other books here I would like to hear about when you review them.

    1. Disher has a couple of series I need to get through....one day! Funny enough I found another MacLean book in tub number forty-something.

  6. Col, I have got a couple of David Baldacci and Jeffrey Deaver books and, of course, I'm waiting to read Mr. Reasoner's TEXAS WIND.

    1. Doesn't look like Baldacci does short - why use one word when you can use 50? TEXAS WIND should be good.
