  1. Oh, you do have a nice lot there, Col.. Five Little Pigs is an excellent Christie novel, so I do hope you'll get to that. And with Block, Corris, McKinty, Mosley and Pronzini, you've got some great reading ahead of you. Must spotlight one of McKinty's Sean Duffy novels, I think...

    1. I keep meaning to get back to the Sean Duffy books, but no sooner do I have that thought than something else turns my head! A spotlight from you might focus my attention!
Maybe the Christie will drop into Rich's monthly date inspired meme in 2016 - I can hope, though I shouldn't really need an excuse to read it!

  2. The Twenty Year Death sounds especially interesting. Read the Chesterton decades ago. It's quite a classic.

    1. Yes its an intriguing premise. I'll tackle it as 3 books instead of one I think. I read Chesterton back when I was a boy - his Father Brown stories.

  3. The Winter really does, I'd say, read better as a single book than as three separate ones. I enjoyed it a lot -- gobble it down over not much more than a weekend, in fact.

    1. Oops. I meant "gobbled it down".

    2. No worries, I got your gist. I have you to blame in fact for the addition - you read and reviewed it a month or two ago and I found a cheap as chips copy.
When I set my 2020 reading target - I'll be counting it as three books not as one! (I've got to load those dice!)

  4. Lots of interesting books here, and many I am not familiar with. I will have to wait for your reviews.

    1. Thanks Tracy. Definitely in 2016, I need to cut back radically on adding books I'm never going to read or if I do they will be at the expense of existing. I may have some reviews then!

  5. Some good authors there, and a particularly varied collection I'd say.

  6. Col, your tubs serve as a reminder of books I should be reading such as G.K. Chesterton and Robert B. Parker.

    1. I think some of Chesterton's work is available in the public domain. I've had about a 20 year break from Robert Parker's books - I used to love his Spenser books, so I should revisit him soon.
