You've got some interesting additions there, Col. I see you've a Lovesey there; I think his work is good, and I hope you'll enjoy that. I've heard the Bingham is good, too.
I enjoy the occasional Lovesey too (I was very pleased to pick up an ARC of his newie at BookExpo the other week). Sounds as if I should give Bingham a try.
I haven't tried Lovesey, though he's one of those authors I think I ought to read at least once. Bingham's Fiona Griffith's books do look an interesting series, 3 possibly 4 of them so far. I'm a completist, so it would be good to read them before he gets too far ahead of me!
I think my comment got eaten because I remember commenting about the Harry Bingham book but I see it didn't show up :( I was only saying that I'd heard great things about his books and have that one, too.

ReplyDeleteI have yet to try either Lovesey or Bingham, but I'm looking forward to both.....when the time comes!
DeleteCol, I read RUN GIRL by Eva Hudson and will be reviewing it this weekend. I'd be interested in your thoughts about the book too.
ReplyDeletePrashant, I will look forward to that.

DeleteSome interesting titles there. I'm a Lovesey fan, like your other commenters...
ReplyDeleteA new experience for me........whenever...
DeleteSome nice covers there, but except for Lovesey and Eva Hudson, I am not familiar with the authors. Hope you enjoy all of them.
ReplyDeleteTracy thanks. Looking forward to the Murray Sinclair's the most I think - they are re-issues of some 80's PI novels.
DeleteOk, those Murray Sinclair's sound interesting. I hope you review them soon.
DeleteI'm hoping to read the first in the next couple of months - but no doubt I'll get waylaid along the road!

ReplyDeleteI reckon you will probably read Bingham before me. I hope you enjoy it - a positive review might have me shuffling the stacks again!
