Col, after Tub 56 I have got to ask you: where do you keep all your books? I mean, where is Col's Criminal Library located?!
ReplyDeleteIn the attic Prashant - which is a bit of a pain in the arse when I want to browse a book or two before deciding on the next read. I do have a shelf or two of books downstairs which holds maybe 50 - 100 books.

DeleteI am envious of all the Westlake. I had hoped to start with the more hard-boiled stuff under the Richard Stark pseudonym but I enjoyed the more humorous one I recently read. Lots of good stuff here. I would enjoy finding all of these books too.

Yes - I do like a bit of Thomas Perry - The Butcher's Boy is a particular favourite. Next time I'm up there pulling together a future 50, I'll see what I can do!

ReplyDeleteI need to read more Perry. His Jane Whitefield series is supposed to be very good, but I've not started it yet. I'll second your praise of my probably long-passed house builder. Hopefully they built them to last in the 30s!
