I think McBain's worth a tub or two, Col. I think it's great you have so many of his novels. And there are much worse party-crashers than Marcia Muller. You've got some good stuff there, I think.
ReplyDeleteWell at least I have read and enjoyed a couple of McBain books, so its not as if I have taken a huge blind punt on his work and judging by the size of the books, if I was retired I could read these in 50 days. So there's a kind of method in my squirrel-magpie like madness!
DeleteLooks like a McBain festival, Col! As Margot says, definitely worth a large tub. I have some of these titles too and they still remain unread.
ReplyDeleteI'm not the only one then Prashant - good to know!
DeleteI am envious, I have a good number of Ed McBain novels but nothing like this.
ReplyDeleteI bought a job lot on e-bay a few years ago and have tried to fill the gaps in the meantime. I don't have the complete series, but I think I might have enough to get me started.....
DeleteI've never even seen that many McBain books in a bookshop...
ReplyDeleteYeah I know, madness isn't it....
