Character, story, pacing, setting and outcome - all present in spades.
Frank Scalise pens his crime fiction under the moniker, Frank Zafiro. His more mainstream stories are published under his own name. I enjoy both.

It definitely sounds like a positive, life-affirming sort of story, Col. And the characters sound very real; that's the sort of thing people do go through in real life. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and it sounds like exactly the sort of story we need right now.
