After a two years plus hiatus when the books were placed into storage while an on-off, on-on house move eventually happened, I thought I'd try and complete the exercise that I started back in October, 2014 - namely cataloguing my books, so whenever the fancy takes me I can lay my hands on what I want to read.

In the old house the collection was in the attic. In the new they're in the integral garage-cum-man cave.

Walter Tevis - The Hustler (1959)

F.L. Green - Odd Man Out (1945)

Dana King - Bad Samaritan (2018)

Nick Forte has a hard time leaving well enough alone. Forte's usual cast of Sharon, Goose, Delbert, Sonny, Jan, and, of course, his daughter Caroline do what they can to keep him on an even keel. The problem is that Forte's keel may be permanently damaged and the only resolutions he can arrive at satisfy no one, least of all himself.
