A bit of a drop off in my reading numbers for the month - 9 books completed though 2 of them were really short offerings. I think the first book in the month was a struggle and it set the tone for my reading pace afterwards. 6 of the 9 rated 4 STARS, 1 at 3 STARS, and 2 which I didn't really enjoy at 2 STARSNo stand-out contender for my favourite book of the month. On the basis of which one I would pick up if forced to re-read one of them, I would choose Shadows by Conrad Jones.

All 9 were fiction reads - 6 novels and 1 novella, 1 graphic book/comic strip, 1 collection of short stories.All were published this decade - 7 from this year, 1 from 2016 and 1 from 2013.

Deletethat's a pretty varied list. And glad there are some female authors!

DeleteCol – Some good reads here. But, unlike you, if a story is a 2, I usually stop and move on to the next book in the pile.
ReplyDeleteElgin, I don't have a stop button. I perhaps should, but I get all over come with Catholic guilt if I don't finish it. A bit like getting told by your mum - "eat your dinner up, there's starving kids in Africa would love that" - I perhaps feel the story may improve if I persist.
