DeleteI have read all of the Kerr books up through The One from the Other and A Quiet Flame. They seem exactly like your kind of novels. The Tourist is good, of course. (I haven't read the third in that series.)
ReplyDeleteTracy, I think I started collecting them when he had about 5 or 6 in the series. I think he's had the 10th out this year and I still haven't read one. I wanted to finish Steinhauer's earlier books before starting the Weaver series, but that hasn't happened yet.

DeleteI really liked the Philip Kerr series (not up to date yet, but one day...): he is so good on that mix of history and made-up: really great research and a great noir voice. The early ones in particular are amazing.
