FREE DIGITAL BOOK DAY - 14TH JULY!

DBDsquare

I had an e-mail the other afternoon promoting this event, see below......

Good Afternoon,

I am CJ Lyons personal assistant, Sharon, She thought your readers might enjoy knowing about Digital Book Day. Here is CJ's message:

I hope that you will help spread word to readers about a special day that celebrates them: Digital Book Day, Monday, July 14th.

We’ve gathered over 180 bestselling authors from around the world with one aim: to gift books to readers.

From our imaginations into their hands.

One site, one day, over one hundred free books for readers to choose from in a variety of genres. Some of them are advance reader copies, never offered before. Many are from authors they already know and love.

With so much turmoil in the publishing industry right now, isn’t it time to celebrate the people we couldn’t survive without? Our readers.

To learn more, go to http://DigitalBookDay.com or email CJ Lyons at CJLyonswriter@yahoo.com

As always, thanks for all you do to connect great books with great readers!

CJ

This may be of interest to people, I have had a preliminary look at the list and whilst I'm not exactly light on reading material at the minute, there's a few books I'm interested in.

  1. Col, thanks for passing this on. I'll risk a look at the site as the last thing I need is more books, free or otherwise.

    1. Prashant - you know you love your books. It would be rude not to check them out!

  2. I hadn't heard of this, so thanks. Of course the last thing I need is more books, but it can't hurt to just have a look, right? Obviously I won't be taking any, right? Just looking....

    1. Moira, look to your hearts content! No obligation, right? Be rude not to..

There's a Dick Lochte book up there - Laughing Dog which I already have. Eva Hudson has something up there, that I want to look at.
Loads of "unknown" authors at least to me, but I'm always open to trying new stuff!

  3. Col - You just can't tempt people like that! OK, perhaps I'll just have a quick look. That can't hurt, can it??? ;-)

  4. I don't need to add books to my Kindle, either, I have a hard time reading my e-books. The Dick Lochte book did look interesting. And I also noticed the Eva Hudson. Thanks for the heads up on this offer.

    1. Tracy, I hope you can find at least one for your Kindle - something not too long, then it won't be a problem read.
