NOVEMBER - MOVEMBER

Mystertious Movember

Well I already have a tash, though it sports a few more grey hairs than these - and I have read a bit of Eddie Bunker and Joseph Koenig.

But if you haven't and you'd like to, I'm sure those nice folks at OpenRoadMedia will sort you out!

No - I didn't receive any payment for this plug - but it does make a change from me banging on about all my reading likes and dislikes.

    1. I don't know if you mean the moustaches or the hard-boiled content! I'm guessing the moueees

  3. The picture they have of Rex Stout (my #1 favorite mystery author) at Open Road Media is a very young one. I am more familiar with the later picture with white hair. Very distinguished. I had never seen a picture of Lawrence Sanders; very nice looking too. Thanks for pointing this out, Col.

    1. I didn't know what Stout looked like young or old TBH. Never read him or Sanders. I'm afraid

  4. I usually enjoy Open Road Media because of the all the backlist books they've digitized. Thanks for the info.

    1. No problem, Keishon. I still prefer paper to e-book, but I'm slowly converting!

  5. Hi Col, I have been on a very short break. This was fun. I didn't know Lawrence Sanders had a moustache. He wrote some gripping novels, though.

    1. Prashant, nice to have you back, you were missed! I will bow to your knowledge on Sanders, as I haven't read him, I'm afraid.
