DECEMBER 2010

December 2010.......15 books

Edward Bunker - Deathrow Breakout

Mitch Albom – The Five People You Meet In Heaven

Benjamin Black – The Lemur

Ken Bruen – Once Were Cops

Andrea Camilleri – The Shape Of Water

Tess Gerritsen – Call After Midnight

Charlie Huston – Already Dead

James Kelman – Greyhound For Breakfast

Dean Koontz – The Good Guy

John Steinbeck  - The Red Pony

John Steinbeck  -  Tortilla Flat

John Steinbeck  -  Of Mice And Men

John Steinbeck  -  The Moon Is Down

John Steinbeck  -  Cannery Row

John Steinbeck  -  The Pearl

Kelman’s book was absolutely dire in my opinion; I just didn’t get him or any of his stories. It would have been easier swimming a mile in treacle.

Steinbeck was pretty good, all short novels – not as good as Grapes though

First Camilleri and first Huston for me......both good enough and I’ll read more from them.

Another brisk Bruen read – fairly good.

Pick of the month, Albom and his Five People You Meet In Heaven
