MARCH 2016 - ADDITIONS TO THE LIBRARY........SOME OF AT LEAST

More out of a sense of completism than for any other reason - some of the March books which added to the library stacks.......
FREE on Amazon, I've read and enjoyed an earlier entry in the series, so why not!

FREE on Amazon - Mr Block giving away more of his earlier stuff!

Sneaky purchase for my wife - knowing full well, I will want to read it!

Ditto above - my wife is a Coben fan and I don't mind him.

From the publisher - Pushkin Vertigo

Charity shop purchase - £1.00

FREE on Amazon - already read it. I like Charlie Williams and not only because he once bought me a coffee in Borders and gave me a Charles Willeford book I'd been hankering after!

FREE on Amazon.  I've enjoyed Mackey previously.

Another Amazon FREEBIE!

Early soft-porn Block under a pseudonym - guess what? FREE on Amazon!
Copy received courtesy of the author. I recently read SQUALL which was very good.

Unsurprisingly - FREE on Amazon!

  1. Oh, you have some nice choices here, Col! I really hope you like the Dolan. I must admit, I've come to like her work quite a lot.

  2. The Imperfectionists if the only one of these that I have read - I liked it very much, but it is outside the crime genre...

    1. I think I vaguely recalled you and Prashant enthusing over it, especially with the journalistic theme. Not crime? Not a problem, I do like to meander sometimes!

  3. That last one looks really scary. I have not tried Eva Dolan or Harlan Coben yet.

    1. A collection of stories based around one of Paul D. Brazill's characters I think!

Not tried Dolan myself yet, but I've enjoyed a few Coben's though not for a year or two!

  6. Col, you will not be disappointed by Tom Rachman's "The Imperfectionists." I'm waiting to read his second "The Rise and Fall of Great Powers" next. Harlan Coben is also on my wish-list.
