I now think it's a re-issue of a book I have under another title. I've read a couple of things from Eric Beetner and liked them.col2910https://www.blogger.com/profile/06422138069939709043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109031751968258131.post-83760184405882853062016-11-03T01:41:19.924-07:002016-11-03T01:41:19.924-07:00Col, I continue to look out for Hard Case paperbac...Col, I continue to look out for Hard Case paperbacks. I'm definitely hoping to put the brakes on getting any more books. We'll see how that one goes!

Cheers for the birthday wishes, I hope Glen had a good one and all the best for yours. Probably also the A.D. Garrett book. And the Terry Shames book, although I am wary of "prequels" to existing series and I haven't read the 2nd one even... but I do have it on the piles.

Even though I bought my usual masses of books at the book sale, I have bought a few more since then. I went away with my better half for a break last week and went a bit cray cray - 18 books in total, well it was my birthday.
Anyway it can't continue. 2 decent looking books declined this month already and a resignation tendered to one of my favourite publishers who send me loads of stuff.col2910https://www.blogger.com/profile/06422138069939709043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109031751968258131.post-88645465884188713792016-11-02T08:52:19.324-07:002016-11-02T08:52:19.324-07:00You're not holding back on adding to the mound...You're not holding back on adding to the mounds are you? I think I'm going to have a lot of fun reading him.
Yes - I was reminded of Dale Carnegie when I saw the title. It made me think of my dad, as I can recall him attending a series of lectures/seminars or week night courses in an effort to give him more confidence at work, especially regarding presentations and speaking in front of people, which definitely wasn't my dad's thing. My older sister used to do his "homework" for them! col2910https://www.blogger.com/profile/06422138069939709043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109031751968258131.post-70995398994862888642016-11-01T07:55:04.778-07:002016-11-01T07:55:04.778-07:00Col – Looks like a lot of good reading here. And HOW TO KILL FRIENDS… is a great title, but I don’t think old Dale Carnegie would appreciate it, if he were still with us.
