I don't think I could read the books now, though I did as a teenager. Its the kind of show that you can have on while keeping one eye in a book. I much preferred the Hughes book to the film, though I'm glad I can tick off both. I've not seen much of Humphrey Bogart, but I haven't really taken to him much.col2910https://www.blogger.com/profile/06422138069939709043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109031751968258131.post-34282417894264231062017-04-16T20:56:23.336-07:002017-04-16T20:56:23.336-07:00Amazing that the Father Brown series has been on s...Amazing that the Father Brown series has been on since 2013. I have not seen any of them. I want to see In a Lonely Place but I want to read the Dorothy B. I did keep watching, though it was touch and go. It was a bit "watch through the fingers" cringey in places.... it's not always pleasant watching people behave recklessly.<br />col2910https://www.blogger.com/profile/06422138069939709043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109031751968258131.post-48764395869325239362017-04-10T04:09:57.839-07:002017-04-10T04:09:57.839-07:00Glad you found some good viewing, Col. It sounds like the sort of film it's best to watch when you're ready to be moved out of the comfort zone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
